The reserve is open year-round and, as typical with New England and the Northeast, each season provides an array of beautiful sights.
WHERE IS IT LOCATED?
Parking and the visitors’ center are located on Walden Street/Route 126, immediately south of Route 2/2A in Concord.
Depending on how long you want to stay, a day pack with snacks or lunch and water is a good idea. In winter, if there is a deep snowfall, snow shoes would be advisable. Sun screen and bug spray can also make this a fun outing with no negative aftermath. A camera is imperative.
